Welp, what can i say I asked ~channellehazel about 8 months ago if I could paint her character from this image- fav.me/d5tfuyw

I decided since i was studying alot and experimenting that I would paint her. This was a very frustrating piece in so many ways.  I started this image off way different than I normally do- black silhouette and built up the values. The original background was putridly flat and dull. So i spent... I don't know... 12 hours + reworking her over and over again and the background. I think I finally got it to a good spot. Her anatomy isn't perfect, but depth wise- even in black and white- there is a clear definition of focal point and values and shading

I don't know if much of the environment is accurate- i made it up since Channelle hadn't told me too much about their land.
