My photoshop final. It could be anything we wanted, so i finished a full body painting of an irisidian mermaid i started back in december. The sketch i had was just flats and white lines. There was no painting. This is about 10 hours later. I'll guess and say no less than 13 hours total. The teacher wanted us to integrate any knowledge we had learned over the class into the painting. So the ground, the rock, the flower, and the stactites are all matt paintings (they are all probably 70% painted over). I creatd a bubble brush preset, used Warp tool for scales. He wasn't concerned for me to learn how to paint- he wanted me to push myself to create something better than what i currently do.
(most people in my class have never used PS)
Kinda worried at the moment... trying to save as a PDF and photoshop has frozen :/ the file is 1.68 GIGS!!! it's the largest file i've ever painted lol and the 4th painting i've done exeeding a gig...
actual size is 11x17 300dpi. So it could be printed on a 22x34 without showing artifacts.
here's the original Irsidian i did almost a year ago-[link]
I had fish in the picture but i was half-assing them since iw as running out of time and getting bored... so i deleted
